I've been thinking...

Lately I have been thinking about:

- Biblical Manhood and Womanhood
- Hope Chests
- The Lost Arts of Dinner Parties, Sewing, and Gardening (to name a few)
- Homeschooling and Classic Literature
- Preparing to be a Wife (not because there is someone pursuing me but because its a good employment in singleness -- part of doing him good all my days!)
- Living in the Country
- Raising Children
- Dressing with Elegance and Modesty (and some ladies, and gents too, who did/do it well!)
- Keeping House
- Learning from the Christian Men and Women of the Past
- Nobility and Dignity

Pinterest

Ladies, what do you think? Does the idea of keeping a house and entertaining and raising children on a farm the way it used to be sound refreshing or dreary to you? What women in history have inspired you as examples of godly femininity?
Gentlemen, if you've dropped by for a visit, what are your thoughts? Who are the men in history whose godly manhood inspires you to greater heights?
Feel free to offer suggestions for good books, etc if you'd like. Erika, I'd love to pick your brain! :)
