It takes a lot of time and effort to make a house and yard presentable for a grad party. Many hands make light work though and, in spite of all the set backs, it is worth every drop of sweat to celebrate the ones you love.
We aren't the only ones who think so either. Your best friends from Bemidji drove down to surprise you, your teachers made time to drive out to our house just to pat you on the back, and our yard was full of people who love you and are proud to know you.
I hope you saw it that night, and that you see it in the little things everyday, Lane. It may have just looked like a grad party but it was really
the way we loved you.
