What I Wore // TOMS

Featuring Kelsey //

Kelsey, why do you wear what you wear?
When I hear about sweat shops in other countries and big companies that support things that are wrong, I can feel really frustrated because I don't want to be a part of that. It can be discouraging to figure out how I can spend my money in a way that supports what I believe in and makes lives better instead of enabling hardship. That's why I've been so excited to hear about companies like TOMS, who have great products that I love and also help the hurting and broken in the world. I bought my first pair of TOMS before I went to France, and I spent nine months wearing out those awesome shoes all over the streets of Europe. They're comfortable, adorable, and help me make wiser spending decisions. When I found out my four year old niece Bristol loves them too, I was so excited! She has more pairs than I do! I'm still on a journey to find more ways to honor God through my purchases, and I'm excited to see what He shows me!
